“BISING” SLIGHTLY INTENSIFIES OVER THE SEA WEST OF EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON.
Location of eye/center : The center of Tropical Depression BISING was estimated based on all available data at at 345 km West Northwest of Calayan, Cagayan (19.7, 118.2).
Strength : Maximum winds of 55 kph near the centerand gustiness of up to 70 kph.

Severe Winds
The southwest monsoon and the periphery of BISING will also bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds):
Today (4 July): Ilocos Region, Isabela, the northern portion of Aurora, Zambales, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, and Antique.
Tomorrow (5 July): the rest of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Isabela, the northern portion of Aurora, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, and Antique.
Sunday (6 July): the rest of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Isabela, the northern portion of Aurora, Zambales, Bataan, Metro Manila, Cavite, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, and Antique.
HAZARDS AFFECTING COASTAL WATERS
24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook
Up to rough seas over the following coastal waters:
Up to 3.0 m: The western seaboards of Babuyan Islands and Ilocos Norte.
Mariners of small seacrafts, including all types of motorbancas, are advised not to venture out to sea under these conditions, especially if inexperienced or operating ill-equipped vessels.
Up to moderate seas over the following coastal waters:
Up to 2.5 m: The northwestern seaboard of Ilocos Sur and the seaboard of Batanes.
Up to 2.0 m: The western seaboards of La Union and Pangasinan, the remaining seaboard of Ilocos Sur.
Mariners of motorbancas and similarly-sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions.
TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
Tropical Depression BISING will continue moving generally northwestward slowly in the next 12 hours. Afterwards, it will turn northeastward over the sea west of Extreme Northern Luzon. Re-entry to the western boundary of the PAR is possible by Monday (07 July) early morning and it may exit again the northern boundary of PAR on Monday afternoon. The forecast track is highly uncertain and the possibility of a southward shift in track is becoming less likely.
BISING is forecast to intensify into a tropical storm within the next 12 hours and may further intensify as it moves over the sea north of Taiwan.
